Or maybe you are looking for unique items for the nursery and you have some free time on your hands, perfect to get started on some embroidery on the couch! I have designed 3 different patterns that are all easy to do for beginners, choose your favorite and get started!

Why get started with
an embroidery kit?
Embroidery is an incredibly relaxing activity, your hands are on and your head is off! Instead of endlessly scrolling through your phone on the couch in the evening or starting the umpteenth Netflix series, you are really doing something that you fully focus on. It is a fairly precise job. Not so precise that it is impossible to make something beautiful, but precise enough that you have to pay attention. Personally, I also really enjoyed noticing in the beginning that I was getting better and better and that everything eventually became quite automatic. After repeating it a few times, you know all the stitches by heart and so you can continue embroidering without having to consult the manual every time.
Embroidery kit birth modern
These embroidery kits are made with modern embroidery techniques. The cross stitch is not included! Embroidery patterns according to traditional embroidery only consist of the cross stitch. There is no relief in the work and the fabric also looks very different with clear squares. Modern embroidery, on the other hand, consists of many different types of embroidery stitches (don't worry, I only use a maximum of 5 different basic stitches in these designs!). The patterns for modern embroidery are therefore often a bit more unique and also easier to make to your own taste. The fabric for modern embroidery is also different, I prefer to work with a supple cotton fabric. This fabric is also included in the embroidery kits. Original maternity gift with name
You can't get much more original than a handmade piece of work with the name and date of birth! The modern embroidery manual that comes with the embroidery kits explains in detail how to neatly embroider the desired name yourself. I discuss various techniques so that you can ultimately choose in which type of embroidery style you want to embroider the name and date. Furthermore, you certainly don't have to follow the pattern 1 on 1, it is a suggestion! Would you rather have an extra small giraffe? Draw it again in small and use the techniques as described in the manual and you will succeed just fine!
