With this package you have everything you need to make your own pots, vases, bowls etc. You will learn how to use the tools, the basic techniques of sculpting and shaping your work and you can paint your work of art after drying and even give it a 'glaze' layer with the extra glossy sealer! After drying, the clay feels heavy and firm and the glossy sealer ensures a real ceramic effect.

 Pottery workshop at home
 This DIY package is a full-fledged creative afternoon at home, but you can also see it as an accessible introductory pottery lesson. You will learn to shape and sculpt your work using the same techniques as during pottery. The big difference is that the air-drying clay does not have to go into the ceramic oven and does not have to be glazed. After drying the clay, you can color the pot with acrylic paint and finally give it an extra gloss layer with the sealer, which still gives it the appearance of a ceramic work.
 The clay
 I have had many different types of clay through my hands and have selected these for ease of working and a nice smooth end result. You can work with the clay for at least 2 hours without it hardening, if you are working on a pot you can store the rest of the clay in the airtight resealable bag. The clay will keep for months in this! With the 1KG of clay you can make at least 4 different pots or vases of medium size in my experience. If you make mini pots for a cactus for example, the clay will last a long time!
